APLC12 Single Channel Signal Generator
The single channel APLC12 Analog Signal Generator features ultra-low phase noise, high spectral purity, fast switching, sweep and trigger functions, reliable performance, and competitive pricing. Its frequency covers from 10 MHz to 12.75 GHz in a compact bench top unit that is 1 HU in height and a half-width for rack mounting if desired. AnaPico's APLC12 offers a color-touch display and front panel control along with a 50 ohm female N-type connector for the output of RF signals.
APLC Series Overview
The APLC series of signal generators is phase-coherent, single-channel, ultra-fast switching, and ultra-low phase noise with a frequency range up to 12, 20, 40, and 54 GHz. They’re ideally suited for a wide range of applications where good signal quality, accurate and wide output power ranges, and very stable phase coherence among all channels are required. Excellent phase noise is combined with good spurious, harmonic rejection, and optionally leading-edge switching speed of 15 μs (with option FS).
A high-stability OCXO reference provides excellent frequency accuracy and stability. The generator accepts a wide range of external references, including the commonly used 10 and 100 MHz for higher phase synchronization, and a flexible reference choice in the range of 1-250 MHz (with option VREF) for those applications with customer- or system-specific reference frequencies. Moreover, the APLC Series features a pair of AnaPico-specific high-frequency CLK ports (6 GHz, one input and one output) that enable excellent phase synchronization among the outputs of multiple APLC instruments.
All of these features make the APLC Series ideally suited for laboratories or production facilities that necessitate product testing, LO-Substitution, ADC testing, or radar receiver testing. They are useful for applications in areas such as production lines, automatic test equipment (ATE) systems, and aerospace and defense.
The APLC signal generators can be intuitively operated via touchscreen or remote PC control using AnaPico GUI software or standard SCPI commands. Devices may only be connected to a network or a computer using a shielded LAN cable.
